Since when did AIDS become a weapon to use against innocent people? This video (click on title post) shows a man who confesses to having HIV/AIDS and supposedly having had unprotected sex with multiple women on purpose! Women he claim were dissolute - young women, women who were first timers to sex, women who he claim were only out for his "riches" or what they thought he had.
AIDS is real and as of yet, there is no cure I repeat NO CURE! There may not be validity to this guy, but just the thought that there are people out there who do this, is hard to swallow.Currently, there are a reported 448,871 people living with AIDS in the U.S. (According to the Center for Disease Control as of 2006). There have been 565,927 losses due to AIDS in the U.S. (as of 2006). There are 36,817 people currently living with the HIV virus in the U.S. While these numbers may not seem astonishing to a current U.S. population of 304,472,518, these are only estimated numbers and counts - this doesn't include the many people who never get tested, because of lack of cognizance, or inadequate or lack of proper health care.
We have touched on topics revolving around relationships, sex, trends of sex and the like, but this is a topic that MUST be talked about!

I am outdone that another ignorant mother fucka has struck again. Wake the fuck up people. Why is not cool to strap up. Snoop Dogg said it best ain't no pussy good enough to get burned while I'm up in it...and vice versa.
Why aren't people getting tested. The what I don't know wont hurt me theory doesn't apply here. This shit is serious.
Please protect yourself people. And if you have a cheating mate my prayers are with you. You wanna stay because you don't want her to have him. Get over it. This man/woman and their dips can KILL Y'All.
I think that the guy is helle bound for purposely giving people a disease. That SHOULD be a crime, like "attempted murder" when you KNOW that you have it and still have unprotected sex. There are alot of tiems that people are NOT that sexually active and the one time they do have sex, they are doomed! It is very un-nerving and the only way to be sure is total abstinence. Yesterdays topic was a great lead in. Protected sex is good, but I hear it's not 100%! It is a dilemma that concerns all. Please guys be careful, no matter how fine that guys is, or how fat her ass is, it's not worth your life and your family's sanity.
Well I think People are not as afraid of catching HIV/ Aids anymore since the Whole Magic Johnson thing!!!!!!!! And how many people on tv do you see "saying your life is not over because you have Hiv/Aids(smiling and sh@@)because they have it and are doing fine all you have to do is take some medicine. They would have you think HIv/Aids is like getting a yeast infection when it was first discovered people were soooooo scared to catch it now it's like well don't they have some meds you can take and it can be almost like you don't have it. Me personally I wrapp it at all cost no glove no love!!!!!!!
BP you bring up a good point about "that 1 time" - just may be your last. I have a friend who contracted the disease from the one time she gave in to a man who had been pursuing her. She'd only had a few sexual encounters in her entire life, she had been married for half her life and after her divorce she was going through a lot and felt very lonely. That one time changed her health for ever. She is now HIV positive. Whether this guy is serious or trying to gain notoriety, AIDS is real and I feel so sorry for our children growing up in this day and age. Whether protected or not I couldn't imagine rubbing up against a guy like this! As a woman, I'm going to start propositioning guys to go take an HIV/AIDS test before sex, if they really want to have it they'll do it, if not peace, be gone. But what's sad is that's asking too much for most. This video needs to be a PSA for AIDS/HIV.
Good point about how living with HIV is advertised. But there are a lot of people who have it, and don't want to know they have it, or just don't know because they never get tested. And those are the ones to look out for.
Kudos to the people that go and get tested and take treatment. I can't get over the ones who said they don;t want to know if they have it. They'll rather just fall out one day. How silly is that.
this dude needs to be castrated! point blank! i wish a b!%$@ would try and pass hiv off on me intentionally! i'll hunt her a@@ down and say it was self defense!
not as silly as you may think pricess. HIV is as much mental as it is physical, so in essnce the stress of it can wear you down even faster. SO a person not knowing in hindsight can live longer than a person knowing and worrying about it everyday. Some have committed suicide because of it, some have worried themselves into sickenss worse off. They are at risk of spreading it though if they are indulging in an unprotected active sex life. BUt to NOT want to know is silly but not totally not understood.
That video is sickening - it is so rough out here. So much is going around and people still are afraid to ask the person there sleeping with details about there past sex life. And even when some of them are asked they lie. Which is crazy! My 18 year old cousin has herpes and gave it to his girlfriend when he cheated on her. They have a 3mo old child together an she had no idea he was cheating on her. Then had the nerve not to want to talk to her anymore after she confronted him!
Wow only 9 comments plus mine??? This is the least amount of commentary I have ever seen on this site? Usually you can’t a word in w/o reading a paragraph! We had about 80 something comments yesterday (at least 30% of that dedicated to me of course) and about 60+ the day before. This is a real issue and everyone has gotten quiet? I guess anything that concerns are on responsibility (in some cases) can do that...good one AF1, good one...
We are usually laughing about dipping off, friends with benefits, same sex (really defending that) on & on..."that package" can be a result of all of thee above! We have all the answers for every other subject don’t we??? (I'm not excluding myself) I got tested in March & it scared the living sh*& out of me waiting on the results? It scared me so much that I haven’t had sex since then. Waiting on them results can be the scariest experience in your life! When I came back negative, my God, I had a hold new appreciation. Not that I am reckless or don’t protect myself, however, WE ALL, have slipped up and used that old excuse of “I have been knowing them forever” I don’t care if you wear a rubber 99% of the time, you can be careful or a plain hoe and you are still at risk...
delta3 stories like that make me sick. Herpes is on the rise again. More people are infected with herpes then HIV/AIDS. People need to wake the F up. I've seen this video like two months ago and was pist off to the max. How could someone be so stupid. And bitchplease08 it is a crime in some states to have sex with someone and not tell them you are HIV positive. It is consider attempted murder in some states and manslaughter in others. In the US, the southern states are being hit the hardest. Hot Atlanta need some education. There are so may HIV/AIDS cases. And it's getting out of hand in the Black and spanish St8 female commnity. Protection is a must. I'm test every year and I'm not embarrassed to tell my OBY to test me when I go for my yearly check up. Commnication, education and protection is the key. We need to educate our youth by all means. Because our young boys and girls still don' know you can get a STD from oral sex. knowitall your right people are not affraid anymore and this is sad.
Openminded..well put, well put...facts are your friend!
Yes it's funny we can talk all day long about so and so baby mama, or the dl brother down the street but when it comes to something like this and something that is going on right in our back yard so to speak mums the word. This not a taboo subject folks it is a subject that is serious in every community. I bet half the folks that have commented on some drama chit have not been tested for HIV/AIDS in their life.
Like Kanye says "But if I talk about God then my record won't get played huh?" We can talk about drama like there's no tomorrow, but bring up a topic about something like this and it gets no "airplay"????
Sorry to say firefly in this day and age people really don't care about the important things in life. We(I'm guilty 2)are so consumed w/material things, lustful relatonships, etc that we don't even concern ourselves with what's really going on in the world today... like perserving the planet, our health, our loved ones, and educating ourselves, building a good foundation for a family... Sad but so true!!!!!!!!!!!
Well maybe what we "think" are the important things in life to discuss are really not? Should we re-evaluate what's important to discuss to the masses? Maybe it is relationships, or lustful thinking. Maybe it isn't discussed enough in the home or maybe there are still unanswered questions lurking in those areas...hmmm I think you may be on to something knowitall...
Why aren't people concerned anymore? 1 out of every 6 black women has HIV. 1/15 for Hispanic women and 1/20 white women.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE my daily dose of bullshit but when it's time to grind I can roll with the best of them.
A man (and I'm sure there are hundreds more like him) are committing premeditated murder. If we can't talk about it here, please make sure you inform others that guys/girls like this are out here.
Why are people so afraid to talk about HIV\AIDS? Is it fear? Fear is an emotional response to threats and danger. Is HIV\AIDS a threat or danger? Hell yes it is. Are we threaten by the fact that we are not invincible or that the fact that this disease doesn't discriminate? Or the fact that we were tricked into thinking years ago this was just a gay mans disease? This isn't the time to be afraid. It a time to take a stand and be heard. We can't go down without a fight. The spread of HIV/AIDS among Blacks and Latino women is a public health emergency! Women we need to stop listening to bull$hit men spit at us. No test no sex and keep to your word. Get tested and learn all there is to know to keep yourself safe. Men be honest with all of your partners (male and female). My question to all is how in the hell did HIV/AIDS spread so rapid in the Black and Latino community in the US? And how did it spread so rapidly in the Caribbean, South Africa, and Latin America? But don't be fooled by what white America is feeding us because India has the largest HIV/AIDS population. Yes they have more than 5.7 million HIV cases that compared to South Africa 5.5 million cases. Keep in mind this is the same country that don't allow public display of affection. Go figure.
Because openminded some of the people in the Black/Hispanic community did believe it wasn't really happening in our/their community. Heck some men think you clean just by looking at you and how you carry yourself. You know how when an athlete first enters the league, they have a sex education class they have to take - or an overview of HIV/AIDS along with financial counseling, and public presentation etc., etc. Well they create a "dummy" scenario where they send a very attractive woman let's say in the lobby of the hotel where the players may hang out at and see which ones try and holler at her. Then she shows up in the class the next day and tells them she is HIV Positive. Imagine the mouths hanging open then.
