The Good Life

Have you ever wondered if you are living on the wrong side of the good life? You get up, get ready for work and on your way to work you see your average "hoodies!" The niggas in the hood, with the sounds, big cars, riding spinnahs and all that. Then you see the hoodrats, hair always done, clothes always labeled, (whether or not they are this years fashion means nothing as it is still a label.) You go through your entire day and come home to see them same hoodies and hood rats in the same spot doing the same thing!! You then open up your mailbox to find, energy bill, cable bill, phone bill, cell phone bill, rent is due, and you still haven't eaten yet!!! What are you doing wrong?!!! You are trying to live right, do the 9 to 5 thing, yet your Mercury Sable pales in comparison to Pookie's '08 Durango. How in the hell do this people survive and you are barely keeping your head above water!!!! Don't forget to click the title link!!!

I know exactly what you mean, here it is I am slaving everyday for a city that I can barely afford to live in, then there are people on my block who aint never worked a day in their life, got better cars than me, and always seem to have a smile on their face. WTF?!!

Man oh man do I really think I picked the wrong path in life. The whole go to college and get a good job path is a bunch of crap. People who get by on the system have it made! They get to kick it all day and night no worries nobody on their back, they can stay out as late as they want without having to worry about gittn up in the morning I seriously thought about having about six kids so I can get all kinds of checks and stuff and sit a home hell!

I feel you AF1 and knowitall. I’m tired of working every f’in day to pay bills. Every time I turn around something is due. I’m tired of see people who have less education than I due just slide through life. Bitches got kids coming out of there a$$ and not raising them but they are always got their hair did, nails done, a new wipp and don’t pay one f’in bill. What the hell did my over educated a$$ did wrong????

I dont know people but I can guarantee there is something to be said about their "good life" I went to school, got a good job too, and still sometimes I didn't have enough money to support my cig habit. I had to quit smoking sometimes just so I could eat!!! LMAO!!!

Airforce don't you let that situation get you down, that is what it was meant to do, don't give that dilemma any power or energy....

This isn't the 90's & 80's when it was raining money on the street when the powder game was good & in play. We were making real money back then & had a life style worthy of being envious of. Nowaday's, these minimum wage, "blue print" for dope addicts half ass drug dealers and hood rats you are seeing are an anomaly...a blip! Even if you are struggling financially the only advantage they have is most are living rent free or their Mother and/or proverbial "babby-momma" gets those nice cars in their names @ 29% interest for 72months. These negros now out here are a bunch of spoiled ass momma boys, who’s mothers continue to facilitate their life style, in the spirit of "I want him to have what I didn't" Yeah you are right....common sense...

AF1 don’t let *67 bitches get you down. Chicks who call you *67 and talk $hit aren’t women any way. They are some scary a$$ bitches. Tell them if they are so f’in tough to call you without hiding their number. Cause a real woman don’t hide behind smoke screens.

agreed mello but from the outside looking in it looks kinda tight!!

Pookie still on the block right now and his car looks way better than mine, this nigga got his own crib, I'm paying rent in my 2 bedroom house!! I don't care whether its given to them or they won it in the lottery, Possession is 9 tenths of the law, and what they possess I surely don't have...working 9 to 5 eerrday, teh only thing I can say that I am glad of is the fact that my job sounds good in conversation, in terms of schmoozing clients, unfortunately my lifestyle doesn't reflect my fortunbe 500 job! I do aiight, and basically never want for anything, but damn it's be nice to be able to sit at the crib and feel the same way...

Yall pookie on the phone right nmow telling me how him and his guys planning on taking a trip to teh Dells for a week. THEY PAYIN FOR EVEYRTHING!! Can I go, hell naw cus I gotta go to that evil place that they keep my paycheck!!! Even if I could go, I surely couldn't afford to pay for a week at the Dells, for me and some other folks, THATS IT! My crime spree starts now!!! ...

The half ass negro’s on the street I can deal with, that’s lunch money. What gets to me is these people in Hollywood that seems to have it made because they are white and have a cute face. Some have no education and zero IQ, but they are loaded millions. E! makes the jonas brothers and Molly Sirus look like that next great white hope!

Nevertheless, to all my brothers & sisters in here, I want to encourage you. Don’t ever feel like, your education and hard work has been in vain. Don’t loose your ambition and give up on your dreams. Stop thinking about it and be like Nike and just do it! Success is intentional, remember that! This is coming from a guy that has to encourage myself with these words myself to keep me motivated and going.

I hear you Mello but the mind body and soul gets soooooooooooo weary sometimes and it always looks like Pookie and Bommquisha are fully energized and ready for any and errrthang!

Mello I feel you on the whole E! Hollywood thang. I have three children that I make sure they get a good education and know that their brain is a powerful weapon. But it get so hard sometimes trying to find different ways to tell my beautiful brown curvy fourteen year old daughter that she doesn’t have to be skinny like Miley Cyrus AKA Hanna Mantanna.

What is up with all this coveting going on up in here! Why do we look at our neighbors (Pookie and nem on top of it) looking and seeing what they got? So what they learned how to get over on the system? But do you know what they have to deal with to get over? Are you willing to waste a whole day or two sitting in an run down aid office for a link card? What about being insulted with looks of disgust and patronization as you give a run down of your whole life history to receive what is it $2-400/month that you have to wait for? Do we really have no shame? Come on we need more and more educated people, that have a desire to get up off their asses and work! even moreso than that we need education, motivated people to go a step further and start businesses to create jobs and act on their creative ideas to help make change we want to see in the world. Don't you want to get to a point where money is working for you and not you for your money?

...THAT'S ALL I'M SAYING FIREFLY

Well I look at them because they are outside my front door when I leave for work and when I get home.

I love the fact that eerbody seems to have read a bible verse and now they feel reborn, but you see the same things I see, and you wonder the same thing I wonder. I'm not coveting, jealous or any of that, it jsut amazes me how much of a struggle my life is, and how easy theres is. The statement holds true in these instances MO MONEY MO PROBLEMS..

I don't yall picketing Biggie, le tme wonder how and why without passing judgement on how I should feel. I wouldnt trade places with these bastards for no one in the world, but I would trade my car and happy dispostion in for theirs...
