Quiji Are You With Me

It's Halloween and TC wants to address any spooky activity that you may have encountered. Do you believe that spirits are all around you, or maybe even haunt you? What about spells that will deliver pain to others but bring you joy, like feeding a man spaghetti with a special feminine ingredient to make him love you....and did it work? Did you ever receive accurate results from a Quiji board or summons Bloody Mary in your bathroom? Better yet, did you tee pee or egg someones home for giving you bad candy. Talking Chit Heads want to know!!!!!!!!

GOTV!

Today I voted. I thought it would be a good idea to take advantage of early voting, beat the long lines and traffic, ya know, get ahead before November 4th. From all the buzz and talk of this election, I had anticipated maybe a little traffic, but I was not prepared for what I encountered - especially at 8 o'clock in the morning. As I walked down the street towards the voting place, I looked ahead and couldn't help but notice a long line of people waiting outside a building. I kept thinking this can't be the voting place and I was hoping it wasn't. To my dismay it was, and in my type A impatient mind, I quickly got irritated. I thought I can come back and hope the lines die down, or I can suck it up, risk being late to my class and get in that early vote. I decided to wait since the lines seemed to be moving rather quickly. As I followed suit in line behind 4 other people a young lady passed out forms for everyone to fill out and re-iteriated for everyone to make sure their names, address and today's date were on it. I filled out the form and proceeded in my place in the moving line. My irritation suddenly diminished when I starting to look at the faces of people around me. Young faces, old faces, white, black, red, yellow faces. At this point a gentlemen who seemed like he was part of "crowd control" started to tell people ahead of me to go in, in groups of 10. My group went in the polling room and there were even more people inside! I felt like I was at the DMV but with a bigger purpose of being there. I would have to say as many people that were there, they made the process very easy and it was very organized as different lines were separated for different steps. The first step was to make sure you were a registered voter in the state, get a voter card for the booth and then proceed to wait in another line. This line proceeded to a sitting area where people took turns passing around a "clip board" that served as a "number" as they got up simultaneously to go to the voter booth.

As I sat and waited for the clip board to come around I decided to catch up on some reading. Before I knew it, I looked up and the guy sitting to the left of me had the clip board. I don't know why, but I got this anxious nervous yet excited feeling in the pit of my stomach. After one voter finished voting, the guy next to me got up and took his turn at the booth. He passed me the clip board and I felt like he had passed me the torch at the Olympics! Then it was my turn to go to the booth. I couldn't help but smile at the the thought that I am about to be a part of making history. As I inserted the voter card in the slot, after pressing the "English" button for my language, my smile was accompanied by tears. I looked up to the top right hand corner of the screen that read "Obama, Barack/Biden, Joe (President/Vice President)". I stared at it before pressing the touch screen to mark "x" at my selection. Stared at it long enough hoping that I can make a mark in my memory and in history, that would be etched in my brain forever.

I felt so proud when I left the polling place. Proud like Martin must be feeling right now in heaven. The sun was shining and I felt good. I just hope and pray that these same feelings can revisit me come election day next Tuesday.

All Good In The Hood.....OR NOT!!!!!!

Since the vicious slaying of J Hud's relatives, NBC national news has deemed Chicago the "Murder Capitol" of the world. Meanwhile, Chi Town locals are wondering why the Academy award winning, American Idol star never made an attempt to relocate her family from their Englewood home to anywhere else. Jennifer, who is known to have a condo in the Loop (Downtown Chicago) and a home in LA would visit her mom quite frequently in the heart of the hood. The talk around town is "Why would and How could Jennifer leave them in the Ghetto", as if she turned her back on them and left them victims of a socio-economically challenged neighborhood. When you move on up...should you move on out?

"Bromance"

Posted on behalf of H20
There comes a time in every man's life when he must leave his childhood buddies behind and start his new life with the woman of his choice, but what happens when the man spends too much time with his buddies? How much time is too much time? Women have you yourself or know of anyone in a relationship where the woman feels neglected or left out of her mates "guy time?"  Should women feel threatened by their guys male bonding or should they just follow the age old saying "let sleeping dogs lie?" Is their a such thing as a BRO-MANCE?

With Deepest Sincerity...

TC would like to send our condolences to the Hudson family for their tragic loss.
Our prayers are with you Jennifer...

I Made You, Why Would I Play You!!!!

Posted on behalf of Blogger Class Act:

Let's say you are in a relationship. You and your mate both have went from ashy 2 nasty 2 classy together. Now that you are both successful and live in a certain comfort zone your mate has done a complete 360 on you and does not treat you the same and cheats repetitively. Do you stick around because you have had a hand in making your mate what he or she is today or do you leave and let someone else enjoy the fruits of your labor with your mate?

No Call No Show!!!!

Professor Grey is in Cabos this week and we have no idea where Professor Extra is. So, with that being said I don't know what to do considering Friday's are our advice days. Anonymous where are you with that topic that you owe us....We can use it right now. Suggestions, comments, complaints, grind sessions or maybe you want to tell somebody to kiss your ass better yet you probably want to us to pray that you don't slap the hell out of a co-worker today....Do what you like......Have a great weekend!!!!!

Barack + Obama = Anti-Christ ???!!!!???

After watching a national news show the other night I became very disturbed by people making claims that Barack Obama IS the Anti-Christ. I mentioned this malarchy to a few friends who say they feel ashamed to say it but they agree. They went on to tell about several books in the Bible that describe a man whose image appears to be very Obama-esque which they feel supports their blasphemus theory. Are you religious and believe that Obama is anything but a child of God or do think that this malicious rumor was started by a group who can't seem to find any dirt on B*Rock???? Your thoughts!!!

"TIL DEATH DO US PART

If you are celebrating your last night out as a free man or woman, should you be allowed to "get busy" with the entertainment (stripper)? Why is it that most people feel like they are violating a sacred union even though it hasn't officially begun, and others don't? Last but not least, If you found out that your soon to be spouse got a little at his or her Bachelor(ette) party, would you be upset? Why or Why not?

HELL DATE

Have you ever been fixed up with someone before?...Or maybe you do remember exchanging numbers with someone but can't exactly recall how they look? Their self-description via phone sounds as if you've landed you a winner. Unfortunately, when they arrive at the designated meet up spot you see that they neglected to mention that they're missing teeth, or one leg is shorter than the other or maybe they have a lazy eye, or the lady has a mustache and beard thicker than yours (not saying that anything is wrong with people with these conditions, but you just weren't prepared). Follow that with a picture swap of them when they were 10 yrs younger and 30 lbs lighter. Then there are also the dangers of the "Person Swap" where you think you are talking to one sex and it turns out to be another!! There are fears associated with the blind dates so why do people do it? There have been many blind date success stories which is cool but today we want to hear about your Hell Date experiences.

To Snip or Not To Snip

Vasectomy vs. Tube tying .......

I was shocked to find out that a lot of couples have disagreements as to who will cut off their ability to reproduce once they have completed their family. Women feel that having their tubes tied is a longer recovery period opposed to a man who can get snipped and be back on his feet in no time. Who should be responsible for the permanent sterility in a relationsip?

Your Face Beat Up My Hand......

In the world today almost half of the female population has either been a victim of or witness to domestic violence. Recent studies including one spoken of on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, suggest that this behavior may have been learned. Meaning "my mom got beat so maybe this is the way to go" others suggest that it is a behavior promoted by fear. The law as it stands now states that if the person who is directly involved with the attacks doesn't come forward, the authorities have no rights to act on it, even if family has expressed a concern. What measures would you take if it was a family member of yours?

The Great Debate Recap

Who won? or better yet, who will win?

Here's some food for thought: We know African Americans only make up 13% of the population so Obama didn't come this far without the "majority" vote so does he have to count on the black vote?

"Out of Respect for Me....."

Often times the souls in your life, be it lovers, friends, and family put you in a position to where you have to choose between your better judgement and their feelings. When these situations occur is there a right answer or correct solution? No one wants to go against there own principles, at the same time we don't take pleasure in hurting the ones we love. How do we decided between everyone else's feelings and your own? When do your circle's wants and needs trump your own? Why must we even choose? Got an example of a friend or family member putting you in an awkward position and making you choose between them and you? Tell us about it, and explain how you got out of that Chit unscathed....

Que sera sera?

Posted on Behalf of Firefly....

Some of us come into this world knowing what we want out of life and find every possible opportunity and possibility to make it happen. Some of us may benefit from those around us paving the way. And there are those of us who wait and wait patiently for things to happen - that may or may not ever happen.

What approach do you use to get what you want out of life whether it be a career, relationship, or personal pursuit? Do you go for yours, rely on others, or wait for the "divine intervention"? Let us know what worked and what didn't! Did you sleep your way to the top of your career? An advocate of affirmative action? Does your family open the doors for you? Whatever got you in the door, is it the same qualifications that helped you stay? Tell us we'd LOVE to hear it!!! Be sure to click the title link!!

When to Agree To Diasagree

In everyday conversation whether it be in friendships, relationships or what ever kind of ship you are sailing, you won't always agree with the person you are speaking with. Do you know someone who always has to show you how right they are? In relationships, the cost of disagreement is higher because it can make or break your union if not handled properly. With friends it still holds weight but true friends can disagree and still be friends in the morning.

Tell us, is it more important to you to be understood, to be heard or to be right? If you have a person in your life that looks up to you sooo much that they have to make sure they are telling you when you have made a mistake just to make themselves feel better let us know. How do you agree to disagree, when all you want is to be heard?

Economic Stimulus Plan

Is anybody against the $85 billion government bailout plan for AIG?

Well let me put it to you another way. If the government really wants to get the economy back to rockin' and rolling they could invest it into every American who is 18 and older which is approximately 200,000,000 people. Now divide $85 billion dollars by 200 "milli" people and we will all receive a check for $425,000. Yep!!!

Now we know that it would be taxed at an assumed rate of 30% which means you'll pay $127,500 in taxes to go back to Uncle Sam which totals 25.5 billion back into the budget. We on the other hand, have a remainder of $297,500 in our pockets.

Now they want to do another rescue worth 700 billion for Wall St. Please do you know how much we can be earning instead of playing with the US Congress?

And remember, this plan only really costs $59.5 billion because $25.5 billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam. Good idea? Is anyone opposed?

stats were borrowed from a random chain email

Falling in love is a many splendid thing. You're on a quest to know another person spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. You think, as well as the outside world that your relationship must be heaven sent. Not on the first night

As teenagers and even into our twenties most of us had a "no sex on the first date" rule. Women didn't want to seem easy and hoped that holding out would keep him coming back. Men, well yeah right...LOL!!! This strategy seemed to work fine back then. As we step into the 30+ club A.K.A Mature-dom do the same rules apply? Women, do you still belive that puttin it on him on the first date may jeopardize your chance at a real relationship with him. Men if you hit on the first night would you overlook a womans wifely potential and downgrade her to a slut bag with no discretion? Your thoughts!!!!!!

Is he is, or is he ain't

Why is it every time a black male celebrity trades his hood look for one of debonair with classy swagg, they are immedately classified as "GAY". Celebs like Tyson, Ne-Yo, WIll Smith, Eddie Murphy LL Cool J, Usher and P Diddy have all been accused of either being on the down lo, bi or just straight up gay. Most of these men have beautiful wives and families so is it fair to question their lifestyle. Face it people, who is in their bedroom to witness man on man interactions with these stars. What makes you think that a Celeb is gay? Why are people so adamant on labeling celebs as gay?

"Know Your Rights!"

Posted on Behalf of Firefly...

Living in a country were we have rights and laws to protect us is a
wonderful thing so why not take advantage of it! If you visit third
world countries where basic necessities such as food and water are not
seen as...well a basic right to have, it can definitely make you more
appreciative of living in this country. Today on TC we would like to
share some basic rights, laws and situations that you may know or may
not. But it just doesn't stop with laws and rights. There are a lot of
unethical business practices that go on all the time, everyday. If you
know of some or have some of your own experiences to share, please
feel free. Knowledge is definitely power people!

TC shares a few:

Did you know...

If you are being investigated for a crime and do not feel free to walk
away from the officer, you are in custody? You don't need to be
handcuffed, just detained. The officer must read you your Miranda
Rights, prior to any questions he may ask. If you choose at that time
not to speak to him you have that right.

Did you know...
If a product or item in a store is mismarked at a lower price that the
original price, the store has to honor it? If you have some facts that you think maybe helpful to our readers feel free to comment!! Don't forget to click the title link!!!

Black Out

Talking 'bout good or bad hair// whether you're dark or you're fair// Go on and swear// See if I care// Good or bad hair.........was the jingle sang in the battle of the complexions in Spike Lee's "School Daze". Not only do we deal with discrimination within our race but Corporate America even has an employment clause that forces them to hire minorities (blacks) only to fill a quota. Think about your current situation and honestly answer...Do you hold your current job because you were the most experienced of all the candidates who applied or because an equal employment agency said they needed one more "darkie" on the team.

**Would it be fair when that same black skin that landed you the job, is the same black skin that routinely gets you passed over for a promotion?

**How would you feel about being hired only to satisfy a requirement....what about when that requirement backfires in your face and the light skinned black person who knows less than you is promoted before you?

Dont ask dont tell policy, The New Infidelity

Posted on Behalf of Firefly

*LeRoy: Hey what's up with us getting together?
*Ke-Ke: Nothing
*LeRoy: I was wondering if I can come visit you sometime
*Ke-Ke: I'm already involved with someone
*LeRoy: So what that mean?

Sound familiar? Now we didn't post Ke Ke's response but most would assume she didn't pursue anything further with LeRoy...or did she? Now this scenario can be taken in different ways and different scenarios. Ke Ke and LeRoycould have known each other, work with each other etc. But bottom line the script still sounds the same. What's shocking (or not) is if you are really attracted to a person whether or not you, or that interesting party are involved with others, the "don't ask, don't tell policy" goes without saying. It seems that gone are the days when you have to explain why your animalistic instincts goes for what it wants. It's not even about infidelity or respect anymore. So what is it about? Do you think it has become the "norm" to adopt this "policy" to keep you "feeling alive" with someone whom you are really attracted to even when you're involved with another?

"Whose your Daddy" or "Not the Momma"

This post was an idea submitted by an email buddy named BabyLuv, keep reading, things get interesting at times...

As time moves forward we are witness to all different types of parenting styles. Some are good, some are bad, and some leave you wondering and placing bets as to when a Parole Officer will be calling for the offspring. Many people feel that the authorative or dictatorship method of raising kids is not the best. They do not believe that "sparing the rod will spoil the child" and would more likely be faced with giving their children a "time out" instead of knocking them upside the head. Are the children of parents that aren't afraid to use said rod, more likely to grow up to be succesful functioning parts of society, or will they grow up with a rebellious nature and do everything they possibly can to get back at their mom or dad for that spanking?

Are we really raising our kids today or are we their older and wiser best friends who can merely suggest a better way of life rather than enforce it?

The "Pursuit" of Happiness...

What is your definition of "pursue"? Does it mean letting him know that you are available? Does it mean walking up to him to initiate communication? Does it mean acknowledging you have interest in him? If this is true for you, then there is nothing wrong in letting someone know you are unattached and interested. In this busy world we live in, sometimes men miss signals that are right in front of them. They would be flattered to know someone is interested in them and had the forthright to initiate contact. However, if your definition of "pursue" is this:

Does it mean tracking down his phone number and calling him?
Does it mean asking him out on a date? Or dates?
Does it eventually mean asking him to marry you?

Then, I would caution you.

If the man knows you are available and interested in him, but isn't pursuing, this is an indication of how he feels. Maybe he isn't interested at all. Maybe he isn't ready for a relationship. Maybe he doesn't have the guts to ask you out (not a good sign). Most men want to be the "hunter." It is in their blood to see something they desire and to go out and get it (Ok, conquer it … I said it). When pursued, the flattery that was felt earlier quickly changes to questions of: "Why is she asking me out? Is she desperate? Is there something wrong with her? Does she feel as if time is running out for her?" Men what are your thoughts? Do you feel women are desperate when they make the first move? Women do you feel you are putting yourself out there when youmake the first move?

When Good Love Turns Bad

What is considered the perfect relationship? Is there a difference between the perfect relationship and a relationship that is perfect for you? Often times we lose sight of what is real in our lives because we are too busy focusing on what "can" or "could" be instead of what "is." All relationships have issues but what if you have fallen in love with the person who you have considered your soul mate, and they have or have contracted an STD? Whether its a life threatening disease or not, do you continue down your path of bliss, or do you call it quits as soon as the results are in?

For example the Plavix commercial claims that we can date a person stricken with herpes without the risk of contracting it IF they take their meds as prescribed. Is there a way to have a healthy relationship knowing that all sexual interactions with this person are risky? What are your thoughts on sex in relationships? Is it more or less important than mental and emotional security?

Black by Popular Demand

Firefly and H2O collab!!

As history has shown us, the term the "White House" has meant more than just the color of the walls. For the first time in the history of the United States there is a chance for a man of color to lead this nation into "better days." One might think this is the best thing ever for African American citizens, however some of our brethren and even sisteren seem to be afraid of Obama, with thoughts of him being to good to be true. In the immortal words of Dick Gregory, "When Bill Clinton was in office, you all 'said Oh that man has got some black in him, or he is really black under that skin' then along comes Obama and he is not black enough?!" People my grandmother told me something when I was a tiny bit of the person I am today. She said " a man's soul can be directly connected to the woman he marries!" If there is any doubt on how black Obama really is, please pause for station identification and take a gander at his soulmate!!

If one more black person say they are afraid for Barack Obama or they won't vote for him because of "fear" I'm going to scream! Let's get to the real problem and issue: When something is going good it seems that human nature kicks in and tells some of us it's too good to be true. I say let it ring true and true all the way to the White House! Will you let fear place us into another 4 years of the same "perfection" that we have already been subject to?

Walk it Out

While standing in Harold's ( Chicago chicken shack chain ) on Sunday waiting on my 6 wings with mild sauce a disgruntled male employee was swearing and fussing because he'd worked his entire shift for the day and was fired. He kept cussin' and fussin' about how management should've said something in the morning and he could've been with his family to BBQ for Labor Day. The ruckus was holding up the chicken service so a few hungry customers starting making a commotion as well. Before I knew it the brotha had jumped back over the counter and started throwing fries, cole slaw and chicken plates at all the customer and smearing mild sauce on the register. I was ducking fries and dying laughing because the "Fry Guy" was setting it off in Harold's and I felt his pain. These supervisors get a little too high and mighty at times and you have to bring them back down. Have you ever made a scene for being fired? If you were fired today would you leave amicably or tear the roof off this bitch?

Think About it Thursday "The Open Door Policy"

Firefly and H2O Collab

In a recent article/interview done on Will Smith he explained his views on marriage. During this interview he revealed the secret to the success of his marriage to Jada, is the fact that "he gets busy with whomever he likes as soon as he tells his wife about it first." He also explained that their perspective is "you don't avoid what is natural and you are going to be attracted to people. If it came down to it, then one would say to the other, 'Look I need to have sex with somebody, now I'm not going to if you don't approve if it'." Smith seems to think that his marriage would survive a permitted affair because of his and wife Jada's honesty. In addition, the Smith's traded in traditional wedding vows which state "forsaking all others" and replaced them with "you will never hear I did something afterwards, because if that happens the relationship is destroyed."
Can true love allow you to share your body with another willingly? Then what of the term "Holy Matrimony?" Is this term leaving our already failing society? More and more husband and wife teams have been exploring the possibility of open marriages, however, my question is, what is the point of getting married? Why not just "shack" for the rest of your lives? Is their (The Smith's) marriage for business purposes only or have they been listening to Digital Undergrounds Freaks of the Industry just a bit too much. What are your thoughts?

Nature vs Nurture

This is an Air Force and H2O Collab!!

You are a woman on your way home from bible study filled with the spirit and exuding the light of Him all through you. You get closer and closer to your car, and you feel a strike across your head. You fall to the ground and see a masked man on top of you. He strikes you in the face and puts his hand over your mouth telling you "bitch if you scream I'm gonna kill you right here!" Your silence is only drowned out by your fear, and as you lay there helpless on the ground, you think to yourself "why me?" as you feel your skirt being ripped from your body. He enters you, over and over he thrusts his manhood inside of you until he is done. He then jumps up, zips up and then he's up, off into the night!! You struggle to regain your composure, and you go home, tired, confused, and very, very disrespected. You go to the doctor the next day to make sure everything is okay and you find out that you are pregnant!! What choices do you have when you religion teaches you that abortion is a sin? Do you have the baby and be reminded of the rape everytime you look into the child's eyes or do you go against all you have learned religiously for the sake of your own personal sanity? Men if this was your wife what would you suggest she do?Men would you allow your wife to bare the baby of a creep to satisfy your religious beliefs? Keep in mind you BOTH share the same religious beliefs, even if you don't you love her enough to respect hers. What do you do?

Talk Chit Tuesday

One of our authors (Firefly) is feeling a bit under the weather so we want to wish her well!

Ask a black woman about love and she can tell you all the things she wants in a "black" man. Yet many of black women find themselves without one. Some wait around till their hair turns gray, while others—often with heavy hearts—look for love beyond the color line. Those "others" are not so quick to bash the brothers for stepping over the color line once their options have been explored. Are the days of "sticking to your own" gone? With interracial dating on the rise it appears that there is no color lines to cross, just the color of love to test. If you are single and had thoughts of dating outside your race, what would be your reasons?

Mayhem Monday

Let’s see who can top my weekend from hell…

My buddy (and I use that term loosely), who is known for driving the hottest cars while donning Gucci bags and Tory Burch shoes let me drive her Porsche. Well I’ll be God Damned if Chi-Town’s Stoopedest (police) didn’t stop me while driving through Englewood (high crime area in Chi-Town). When the “routine traffic stop” was over I’d earned myself 7 tix ranging from no insurance to expired registration…you name it I got it….Why in the hell is Miss Glamorous Life in default? As far as the Po-po’s are concerned, someone is shot in Englewood every 3 minutes but they decided to fuck with me opposed to fighting crime. The screwed up part of this is all the tix are in my name and I have to appear in court for a car that ain’t even mine. People kill me with these caviar dreams on a Mc Donald’s budget. It’s Monday and I gotta whole lotta tension in my slap a bitch hand. When is the last time you felt like slapping the shit out of somebody?

Secret Lovers

Posted on Behalf of Firefly...

Some folks believe in the adage that "what you don't know, won't/can't
hurt you". But what if you found out that your partner/loved one was
secretly sleeping and seeing someone behind your back? Even more
surprisingly it was someone of the same sex! In hollywood this is not
a trend or phase, it's a way of life. But what about us common folks
who just want a honest faithful relationship with the one we love?
Some have come to terms with just "getting over it". Take Kesha
Washington* for example. She caught her husband of 14 years with his
best friend in their home-where there children live. She was
devastated she said of course and her first thought was divorce - but
couldn't come to terms with leaving all that they had built together -
both successful careers (she a Psychologist and he a Orthodontist),
three beautiful smart children and a beautiful home in a nice
neighborhood. Would you be forgiving to accept a person who crept
behind your back for another of the same sex to hold on to your
family? *name have been changed for privacy purposes. Dont forget to click the title link?!!!

Royal Ass Whoopin'

It's so true what the you can take a person out of the hood but you can't take the hood out of a person. Princess Lisa Raye took her ass to Turks and Caicos and represented Chi-Town style on her husband, Michael Misick after she found out Rocsi (106 & Park) stayed with him in their mansion for a weekend while she was working in New York. The royal couple were both hospitalized after the fight which Lisa Raye sustained bite marks and bruises. Not only that Prince un-Charming is being accused of raping an American celebrity in T&C that Lisa had introduced him to and his assets are currently frozen while the island investigates an estimated 57 million dollars that is missing from the government. Damn Lisa, what have you got yourself into this time?

The Good Life

Have you ever wondered if you are living on the wrong side of the good life? You get up, get ready for work and on your way to work you see your average "hoodies!" The niggas in the hood, with the sounds, big cars, riding spinnahs and all that. Then you see the hoodrats, hair always done, clothes always labeled, (whether or not they are this years fashion means nothing as it is still a label.) You go through your entire day and come home to see them same hoodies and hood rats in the same spot doing the same thing!! You then open up your mailbox to find, energy bill, cable bill, phone bill, cell phone bill, rent is due, and you still haven't eaten yet!!! What are you doing wrong?!!! You are trying to live right, do the 9 to 5 thing, yet your Mercury Sable pales in comparison to Pookie's '08 Durango. How in the hell do this people survive and you are barely keeping your head above water!!!! Don't forget to click the title link!!!

She Loves me....He loves me not!!

In the dating game, almost 85% of the goal is to meet someone fall in love and get married. There are some who seem to just want to "get it wet" but for those who are looking for that significant other when is TOO SOON to admit you may be falling in love? Is there a time period that must expire before we explore the possibility? Or is there a such thing as love at first sight? Ladies do you tell him and risk him testing out his Cross Trainers, or wait until he says it even though you may be feeling it long before? Men do you go out like a suckah and express yourself or do you wait till she says it first?

Astrologically Speaking

Today Professor Grey and Firefly would like to speak on First Date Etiquette. For some of us that first date is the impression maker, and there are certain things that should be obvious when trying to make a good impression such as having good hygiene - you knoooow, fresh breathe and a little cologne/deodorant goes a loooong way (you'll be amazed at some who don't practice this). But there are some things that are a huge no-no on the first date such as with men...don't touch a lady if she didn't invite you to do so! And ladies if you EXPECT him to pay why order the most expensive thing on the menu? But what about if the both of you hit it off. And I mean really hit it off! You see him/her there's instant physical attraction and later the both of you end up at her front door. Ladies do you invite him in (knowing good and well it may lead to the both of you on your couch). Men will you call her for a second date if you end up waking up next to her in bed? Different zodiacs may require different tactics about first date Etiquette. Got a special person in mind that you have been dying to ask out? Professor Grey can give you the know how on how to put your best foot forward with each zodiac to make that first impression a lasting impression. Please click the title link for a comediac look at first date rules!!

Damned if you do...Damned if you don't!!!!

You're at a restaurant on the other side of town and to your surprise you see your best friend's mate entertaining a very attractive person of the opposite sex ( or same sex **wink-wink**). You try to convince yourself that this is innocent….right? I mean it could be a relative or a business dinner but that theory is quickly shut down as they get a little too close for comfort in their booth. Remember this is your "Best Friend" do you:

A) Go to the table and confront your friend's cheating mate.

B) Tell your friend all about it and risk them bringing up your name during the confrontation and if they decide to stay together the mate starts to hate you and then you got to cuss them out and tell them that you will never tell them anything ever again……Sorry y'all I had a flash back…LOL!!!

C) Mind your business.

"If You Scratch my Back....."

Posted on behalf of Firefly....

The age old human proverb of "if you scratch my back I'll scratch yours.." has taken on many meanings over the years. Take my friends situation. She is a beautiful woman with a well off male friend. She is not romantically linked to this guy, but there have been small shows of affection and a hint of intimacy between them. He has ALOT of female company that he doesn't mind spending money on to impress, wine and dine, or just plain bed. She has never asked this man for money, but is well aware of his extra curricular activities. One day he happened to push the envelope and ask her for sex. Although she might have been willing, she still felt hesitant....WHY? He aint spending none of that paper on her!! Is this wrong? Is she considered to be a prostitute or is she just trying to get some goods, for her goods? On one hand she feels " I don't want to charge this man for my body" but on the other hand she feels "all these other women are getting the financial perks of being with this man and they are not even sleeping with each other so why should I give up my temple for free? You be the judge. Tell us what your take is. MEN would you mind this mode of thinking? Women, what separates you from a prostitute if you charge for your time? Be sure to click the title link for and added perspective.

To Pee or Not To Pee.....

Last night I was watching Katt Williams "Pimp Chronicles" and through my laughter I had a revelation!! Why are Americans (especially African Americans) so mad at Michael Jackson but not R Kelly. Katt Williams went on a 4 minute and 15 segment segway on the disgust he had for the King of Pop, but you know for a fact that he has an R Kelly C.D someplace in his arsenal of music. Who doesn't? Mike has made more money than R Kelly, so the whole "well R Kelly might be nasty but you can't deny his music" defense still holds true for Mike as well. Then later in his defense he says "Fuck Michael Jackson, I got kids!!" Just sons eh? No daughters? Here it is, you have SEEN the tape of R Kelly using that girl as a human urinal and still you buy every remix this man makes, which incidentally seem to be always sexually driven, but you have only heard allegations of Mike's actions and he is already tried and convicted. Is America mad at the perversion or is it the homosexual perversion that Grinds their Gears? Two crimes, both the same, yet one person is glorified and the other hated? I don't know about you guys, but BOTH parties should be crucified equally, because I know when R Kelly was acquitted every middle school in the US of A should have been put on a terrorist alert LEVEL RED!! People wake up!!! If we are supposed to be enraged about Michael Jackson being free and "running round smelling like lil boys booty holes", then why aren't you equally upset about R Kelly running round smelling like a freshly broken hymen and crayola crayons!! Right?

Stranger In My house

You and your boo are experiencing technical difficulties. You've tried to reinvest in the relationship for the kid's sake, but the outcome is the equivalent of standing in quick sand...you're getting nowhere fast. Sex happens but neither of you are mentally there, the friendship you once knew has ended and all you do is agree to disagree making your situation a true life sleeping with the enemy. Do you sacrifice your sanity for the kids that are involved or do you leave before the bitterness and regret officially sets in? If no kids are involved, do you stay out of loyalty and honor the promises made or do you free yourself from this mental hell?

TCA's (Talkinchit Awards) & Astrologically Speaking

Today along with Astrologically Speaking Professor grey would like to host the first monthly TCA (Talkingchit Awards) Ceremony. The authors of Talkinchit.com Airforce One, Firefly and H2O have sent in their picks for our monthly awards and the winners are as follows.
Airforce One would like to thank and congratulate Miranda Hobbs for the Cut Throat Comeback Award. In the heat of verbal battle Miranda is a force to be reckoned with. You take no prisoners when insulted and respond immediately with tact and class when your opinions are trifled with. You and your comebacks are witty, full of humor and get right to the point. Bloggers beware as she is not one easily dominated by verbal assassination! Congrats Miranda. Also Airforce would like to bless Knowitall with the "Harvest Award" for overusing the word pumpkin! Knowitall you have the unique ability to use that word like the period to the sentence in the insults you deliver. Once a blogger has been hit with the word pumpkin in a response from you, KNOW that you have been served!! So on behalf of Talkinchit.com please accept you awards with our deepest gratitude.

H2O would like to thank and congratulate Mello for winning the Purple Heart of Bravery Award! When typing comments on a blog you always run the risk of offending someone, disagreeing and arguing, and things of that nature. I would like to present the Purple Heart award to Mello, for consistently giving opinions against the masses. This blog's ratio of female to male is 3 to 1 and Mello you have shown exemplary skills in not only voicing your opinion, but making sure it is non-offensive to our female audience. When the chips are down for the men, you step up to the plate and hit a home run each time and for that you deserve this award. So on behalf of Talkingchit.com please accept this award with our deepest gratitude.

Firefly would like to thank and congratulate the Anonymous bloggers! Whomever you are you come in and turn the conversation from a boring discussion about snooty affairs, into an all out opinion and insult fest! Real comedy has a hint of truth and your wisecracks and comebacks are the taboo of Blogcity!! You say what everyone is thinking and get the creative juices flowing in our bloggers. Whenever the conversation seems tapped out, one hit from you and we have at least 30 more comments. You are the comic relief and for that I thank you. Keep up the good work and whether your comments are good, bad or even ugly we still welcome them as you are a valued member of our chat community!! On Behalf of Talkinchit.com please accept this award with our deepest gratitude.

Now without further adieu, Professor Grey is back to host another day of Astrologically Speaking. Got a problem with a friend, associate or lover. State your claim here and let our Astrology Guru lend a hand. Remember if God made us from the salt of the earth, how can we not be connected to the other planets? Today's title link goes out to my Libras! They were most dominant in last Fridays post and this video is from an artist who is a Libra herself. She basically embodies all that is Libra in the words of this song. Click the title and enjoy!!

Grinds My Gears in dedication to Peter Griffin

"You know what really Grinds My Gears, when you are receiving oral sex, and the person has finally gotten into the correct groove conducive for ejaculation and they stop and look up at you, smiling, with that "you like that" look on their face. I mean c'mon it took you decades to find the ULTIMATE combination of grab, fondle, and slurp and now you want to stop and look at me. What the hell are you looking at? KEEP GOING ALREADY!! And people is what Grinds My Gears!"

Tell me what are some of the things about relationships and/or sex that pisses you off. When they kiss you do their teeth scratch your top lip? Does it bother you when someone kisses you in the mouth directly after being oral? What America, what really grinds your gears?!! Please click the title for a better understanding of what Grinding Gears should entail.

can brighten any bad day! What makes a person attractive? Men do you
care about women "faking it up" to achieve beauty with weaves, fake
breasts contacts, and/or butt/lip injections? Do women really go

Astrologically Speaking

Earth elementals, (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) steadfast, enduring, nurturing, they are the planners of the world. In the zodiac family they are the mothers and fathers. In the Garden of Good and Evil, these elementals can be found, as well grounded individuals, living life walking down one path with little variation. Most often their way is the only way known to them as they leave little room for the margin of error. Down side, this mode of thinking will continue to keep you in the same place in life. If that place is a GOOD place, then you leave no room for the GREAT place and if that place is a BAD place, you will continue to dwell there.

Air elementals, (Aquarius, Libra, Gemini) ever changing, multi-faceted, the social butterflies of the zodiac. Air signs are the embodiment of their element. They are everywhere at all times yet yet nowhere at the same time. They are the cousins in the zodiac family. Always down for having fun, sharing bright ideas and always coming up with new and inventive ways to bring joy and happiness to all. These interesting sources of light, are always around to liven up the place, and as their mind is always working on the new and improved, they sometimes run into a hard time focusing on the present. Learn to focus on what is, to better your understanding of what is to come and the term "Jack of all trades, master of nothing" will cease to exist.

Fire Elementals (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) "Ahh a star is born" the big brothers and big sisters in the zodiac family, this group of performers will always inspire greatness. They live life to the fullest and never accept defeat even when the odds are stacked a mile high against them. Their proud persona will move them through turmoil unscathed and unharmed for the most part, but their lack of dedication will be their downfall. Like fire, a spark can ignite and great explosion, however if not properly harnaced the inferno will fizzle and eventually die. Fire signs are the innovators, with great ideas and very good "how to" guides. If they can learn to channel and stay grounded, their impatience will be put on the back burner and they will soar to all new heights!!

Water Elementals (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) are the Plato and Socrates of the bunch. They embody all human emotion the good and the bad! They are the aunts and uncles of the zodiac, most often very protective and supportive also dismissive and emotional. Water signs have the unique ability to feel exactly what you are going through and act accordingly. Much like the way your aunt or uncles can say the exact same thing your mom says but in a less dictatorship kind of way. They are fiercely loyal and are always putting other peoples needs before there own. Unfortunately not everyone is derserving of this characteristic. Most often water signs get taken for a ride. Their nature forces them to trust emotionally, and msot often people see that as weakness, however, there is no sign in the zodiac that can shut off like water and you never miss your water till your well runs dry. Learn to logically use your emotions and not be a prisoner by them and you intuition and empathy will seem less likely to cause paranoia!

Learn how to turn your characteristic traits into marketable and positive attributes. The good and the bad!! Click the title for a humorous tale of the zodiacs!!

Loose Lucy

One of the blogs faithful readers is having a bit of a dilemma. She has a good man at home....loving, respectful, nice looking and has a good job. Well according to her, he doesn't have enough swagger so she creeped with a buddy of his who does. She is pregnant but it's been bothering her lately because the odds of it being her side dip's kid are very high. She doesn't know if she should tell her man (who is anxiously awaiting the arrival of his 1st child) soon to soften the blow in the future or ride it out and see who the kid looks like as he gets older?

The young lady understands that she is willingly walking the green mile and welcomes good advice as well as harsh opinions. She feels nothing can be worse than her fiance's wrath...if she tells him.

Sex Sells

A sexy video or pictures in the hands of the wrong person may disgrace your family while jump starting or reinventing your career. The beautiful Model/actress Garcelle Beauvias (Fancy from the Jamie Foxx show) bared all for play boy (click "sex sells" to see xxx rated spread). The stunning Stacey Dash (clueless star) preceded Fancy in the same take it off deal one year ago. We are all familiar with Halle Berry's Oscar winning sex performance in Monster's Ball along with the Paris Hilton tape and the Kardashian - Ray J exposed sex~capades in which he still hasn't found his niche but Kim has earned a reality show.

Is this what one (women especially) is required to do to make it big in Hollywood as well as in our regular jobs? Have these women sold their soul to climb the ladder and if so was it worth it? If given the chance would YOU travel the same road for advancement? Fella's would you be proud of your girl if she did such a thing for a job?

"Black is Beautiful, but Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder"

Since yesterdays topic sparked such an explosion of opinions we decided to take the topic off-line. A survey was done among males to see why exactly they tend to gravitate toward other races. Here is what one male had to say.

"Why is it such a big deal? When Hispanics or Asians date non Hispanic or Asian men nobody complains. There are enough men to go around. Black women need to get over this whole race issue. In other countries (London, Jamaica, Brazil) black women date whoever they want. Why do black American women feel so bound to black men especially if they are not bound to you? I have plenty of black friends who will date anyone that's compatible with them and it is not self hatred. They love themselves and they love to EMBRACE other cultures and races. Why can't you? Is it hard to believe that a black man is compatible with a non black woman?"

Also a poll was taken and the top 10 reasons "some" MEN gave as to why they date outside their race are as follows:

1. Black women make black men feel under appreciated, unwarranted and irresponsible and regressive.
2. Black women are too aggressive and no longer patient in waiting on the pursuit of a man.
3. Black women are strong headed, too independent which presents great challenges in relationships.
4. Black women are masculine in that they are controlling and like to run the relationship.

6. Black women are hot headed and have bad attitudes.
7. Black women stop caring about their appearance after a certain age.
8. Black women are not as sexually open as other races, especially in regards to oral sex.

Black is Beautiful

A friend of one of our contributers wants to hear your view on the following:

I am an Indian woman seriously involved with a black man. This is not a first for me dating outside my race but I find that I am more attracted to Black men. Being of "color" myself I see no problem with dating him but everyone else around me seems to especially black women. Along with the cutting eyes and sly remarks I feel as if we are back in the 60's when I'm out with my man. He is very handsome so that could have added fuel to the "fury". Now, I have black girlfriends and recently we had a conversation about dating outside the race. I heard some views that black women feel they are loosing their good black men to women of other races. But I say what does that have to do with who you love? Why be angry at the "other" woman of another race. Is race really the issue or am I being too cynical?

Sister's do we really care about black men dating women of other races? Do you think these women are full of shit and want us to envy the fact that they are with a brother? Brothers, are women of other races offering something that sistahs are not?

The Politics of Fear

This week's New Yorker features the Obamas as Muslim militants in the White House who look as if they're ready to kick off a Black Panther backed Jihad against white America. The NY'ers editor claims that the caricature is nothing more than a satirical use of the misconceptions already in place to sabotage the Obama campaign. The 18- page, well written, accompanying article actually praises Obama by calling him a skilled and calculating politician who rose by mastering the game of politics. Since satire is the use of sarcasm & ridicule to denounce while simultaneously playing up something fictitious, why is everyone making a big deal about the cover considering the write up is phenomenal?

True Love v.s The Friend & Family Plan

Finding love in this day and age seems nearly impossible. More and more the average person seems to gamble with love accepting the win, place, or show prizes, because of the shortage of "good people" out here. Lets face it, the pool of eligible candidates for marriage is a dying species. Either she has too many issues and/or too much baggage (many kids and/or baby daddy's) or he doesn't have enough credit points on his score and all 6 of his baby mommas are crazy. It's becoming harder and harder to weed through the bull*&^% to find, in the immortal words of Chante Moore, your "Special Perfect One." So when you think God has blessed you with the one you feel was created for you by Him, what do you do when your friends and/or family object to his or her arrival? Could it be their own innate jealousy, the ferocious need to playa hate, or do they see something in your mate that love has blinded you to? How do we determine how to keep our choice in love in perfect harmony with the Fav 5?

"Off with his Nuts!"

"Hopping John" Jesse has not learned from the "hymietown" days has he? He has mouthed off again! (Click title post to view video). What is it with him and his negative feelings towards Senator-Soon-to-be-the-first-Black-President-of-the-U.S. Obama? Is hate so embedded within him that caused him to make such a crude statement as this? Or is it deeply rooted in blacks in general that we can't stand to see one of "us" make it past us?

And just when we thought Imus was done here comes JJ! If it's not one of "them" is one of our own!

Protect Your Self!

Since when did AIDS become a weapon to use against innocent people? This video (click on title post) shows a man who confesses to having HIV/AIDS and supposedly having had unprotected sex with multiple women on purpose! Women he claim were dissolute - young women, women who were first timers to sex, women who he claim were only out for his "riches" or what they thought he had.

AIDS is real and as of yet, there is no cure I repeat NO CURE! There may not be validity to this guy, but just the thought that there are people out there who do this, is hard to swallow.Currently, there are a reported 448,871 people living with AIDS in the U.S. (According to the Center for Disease Control as of 2006). There have been 565,927 losses due to AIDS in the U.S. (as of 2006). There are 36,817 people currently living with the HIV virus in the U.S. While these numbers may not seem astonishing to a current U.S. population of 304,472,518, these are only estimated numbers and counts - this doesn't include the many people who never get tested, because of lack of cognizance, or inadequate or lack of proper health care.

We have touched on topics revolving around relationships, sex, trends of sex and the like, but this is a topic that MUST be talked about!

Sensual Seduction

"U don't know nan bitch /who quick to deep throat a dick/ and let another bitch straight lick the clit/ Naw, U don't know nan!" Were the lyrics that blessed our ears in the late nineties and kicked off the proud girl on girl epidemic that is highly favored in today's society. Why has this type of girl on girl behavior (threesomes) become the norm or standard for heterosexual relationships? R. Kelly's mini saga "Trapped in the Closet" shed much needed light on the secret lifestyle of family oriented men whose guilty pleasures are fulfilled by other men aka.....The Down Low brother. Is gay the new straight? Back in the days of old it was taboo, now the attitude is make it do what it do....What has changed?

"What do you want from me!?"

Respect, honesty, intelligence, admiration, physical attraction...yada, yada yada!
Ok, besides the list of the perfect "do right" man and the physical attributes of a perfect looking woman, what is it that women/men really want from each other? Are women wanting too much, or are men not willing to give enough?? Can a man/woman be happy with just one partner or does it take many to fit the bill?

Friends With Benefits

Friends w/Benefits? What's the big deal? At some point almost all of us have had a friend with no emotional attachments, just the enjoyment of their company, in every sense of the word. But is it healthy? What happens when one gets his/her feelings involved? How do we put a limit on complete enjoyment and utter euphoria?

Do you quit your job? Meet them in the parking lot after hours? From the outside looking in its easy to say ignore them and keep pushing forward but when you are smack dab in the middle of the situation its becomes harder and harder to keep your cool. Tell us of your experiences with office politics and what you did to overcome. Injustice System!

Imagine this scenario: You just found out that a male relative has sexually abused and raped your 9 year old niece for the past year. Some of your family members want him dead. Others feel that being locked away for life will do him justice just fine. With the new ruling that child rapist are not deserving of the death penalty (U.S. Supreme Court ruled that it is "unconstitutional") some of your outraged family members may want to take matters in their own hands. How would you feel and what would you want to see done?

(Be sure to check out the video under "videos for viewing" list).

Frenemies - Baby Momma vs New Girlfriend

In this time and age the Baby Momma/Baby Daddy syndrome is seemingly increasing 10 fold. The traditional get married and then have kids plan of action has quickly been replaced with the "Oops I got this girl pregnant" from the guy and "I'm pregnant with this no good ass nigga's baby" from the girl. As much as we wish these situations would run smoothly, most times they don't especially when the child was conceived out lust and not love. When you have decided to not be with the mother or father of the child, how do you still mother or father said child without placing your new found God Send in place of discomfort? If you are the new girl or guy, how do you maintain a balance between loving your mates child and not liking the ex if drama arises? Where is do you draw the line on disrespect? As the new girl or guy, do you even have the right to comment on the ex-relationship? What do you do when the child goes from being a "gift" from heaven, to a "lay-a-way" receipt?

911 is a joke...or is it?

Recently, the news has brought us graphic reports on the alarming number of killings committed by police, against people who were said to have brandished a gun. In recent news a so called suspect looked to be unarmed, but yet he was pumped full of holes for aiming a weapon at the officers. (Clicking the blog title you can see the video and judge for yourself, this was an incident caught on video in the Dolton IL area) The number of similar police killings of people with alleged weapons is out of control.
This is where it gets tricky. Should the police first confirm that the suspect is indeed holding a gun? Or, do you think that sometimes the shoot now ask later approach is justifiable and/or necessary to save the life of the officers and bystanders? Although we respect the men and women whose duty requires them to risk their lives for citizens at the same time it's unnerving to see the " shoot first ask questions later approach" that has become all too common lately. How do we balance our questions and concerns of violence in our neighborhood, with the answer of police brutality?

"Nappy Headed Hoes" all over again?

The Dimus (Don Imus) has done it again (or has he?). Don Imus, who is known for his racially charged "Nappy Head Hoes" comment regarding the Rutgers women's basketball team has made yet another comment that can or cannot be deemed as racist. On Monday's show Imus and sports announcer Warner Wolf were discussing Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones request Saturday that people stop calling him Pacman. Wolf explained on-air that Pacman has had several run-ins with the law since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005 and served a season long suspension for ties to a shooting after a melee at a Las Vegas strip club. The height of the conversation that sent sparks went like this:

Imus: What color is he?
Wolf: African-American
Imus: Well there you go. Now we know.

Imus has tried to redeem himself by saying that he MEANT that because Pacman is black he is always picked on. You know our boy Sharpton who moved to get Imus removed from his gig at Fox is all over this!

Should Imus be expected to apologize or recant his statement, or is he full of chit? Is this shameless self promotion on Sharpton's part that you wish he would get over? Or is Imus just exercising his right to free speech being that he is a radio personality?

You be the judge!

Stop the Violence!

“ …Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven”. - Matthew 19:13

On April 14, 2008, 16 year old John Mendoza was found in an alley in Chicago bludgeoned to death. On March 29, 2008, 18 yr old Chavez Clarke was shot and killed as he walked down the street. On June 16th, 14 yr. old Ulysses Simmons was shot and killed in a debate over his bike marking the 27th Chicago Public School student that have been slain since last fall. He was a student at Beasley Academic. If this isn’t enough to fathom, consider this: waking up each day and never seeing your son, brother, cousin, nephew, or friend ever again because of senseless acts such as these. Our thoughts and prayers go out to families who have lost their loved ones due to violent acts and crimes especially our young ones.

The question was posed, “What do we tell our children to do in violent times like these - especially for young boys?” How do we teach our children to stand up for themselves if it may mean risking their life? We pose the questions, When does it end? And where do we start?

Older women, younger men: What's the attraction?

Mariah and Nick. Demi and Ashton. Why is there a sudden uprising of older woman to younger men? Has this become trendy or has older women flipped the script.
But the real question is: Can it work?

The Art of Noise

A very tasteless art exhibit titled "The Assassination of Barack Obama" was shut down shortly after its unveiling on June 4th in Manhattan. The artist, 27-year-old Yazmany Arboleda was detained, questioned and released later that day. Mr. Arboleda tried to justify his "art" by telling reporters that the media kills the images and challenges the integrity of both Senators Clinton and Obama. He also had the nerve to say that his 1st amendment right to the freedom of speech was violated. Talk about shameless self promoting. Now I'm all for equality and peace and constitutional rights. however I do not feel comfortable allowing ignorance at this level, especially by a person whose ancestors labor nor sweat, nor tears had anything to do with the foundation of our country. Without violating the constitution how do we allow freedom of expression without stifling the creativity of the artist? What is the difference between Art and Smut? Please view this link and decide for yourself! http: //sandrarose.com/category/art-and-culture

Baby Mama Drama

What do you tell a friend who is struggling with 5 kids by 5 men, all of whom have no contact with their children and conveniently happens to be pregnant again by yet another man. I personally don't feel it's my place to tell a person how to conduct themselves in the bedroom. She sees the "Wrap it up" ads just like you and I. I make pretty good money w/ no kids and still can't understand where most of my money goes. She isn't receiving public assistance. She works a lot of overtime to make ends meet. That means that the streets & daycare are raising her children. At this point am I allowed to even speak out on this situation? I can't possibly give her the birds & bees talk. Hell she's a few years older than me. Did I mention that she's had twice as many abortions as kids. I've been diagnosed with a condition which highly prohibits my chances of having kids. But she gets pregnant when someone breathes on her and then decides which ones will make it to this earth based on how fine the daddy is. What am I as a friend supposed to do?How do I talk to her without offending her or coming off as a know-it-all?

R. Kelly's Acquittal

Finally, R&B Crooner / Pedophile R. Kelly has been acquitted of child porn charges that were made against him six years ago. Although he has a history of being attracted to young girls (Aaliyah), it was difficult for the jury to find just cause to put his sick ass behind bars. We all know that Kels indeed played the leading role in that ghetto production. Luckily for him he had enough money to get out of this sticky situation. We are not in a third world country. Why should we allow men to take advantage of young girls with no repercussions? How dare we as Americans sit back and cheer when the verdict was read opposed trying to burn his ass at the stake. People wake the fuck up. Men, Women, America wake up. So what the little girl was hot in the ass and misguided. R. Kelly is a grown perverted man. Would you want him to be commended for fucking your 12 year old daughter?

Conflictions....

This goes out to all of the Hilary Clinton supporters. It has come to my attention that some fo you would rather not vote then vote for Obama and to that I just want to say this. If Obama and Hilary are BOTH Democrats, would their views be somewhat similar in terms of how they feel the country should be run? I mean the both run different races but both want to end up at the same finish line correct. Not voting for Obama because of Hilary's loss is essentially the SAME as voting for McCain. I personally supported Obama for the democratic candidacy, not because he was black but because when he spoke although addressing America, he was SPEAKING TO ME!! That in itself was good enough. he looked into my eyes, read my soul and spoke direclty to me about the things going on in my life that he was willing to try to help. That has never happened before with any other politician. While addressing America he still managed to touch me. In the event that Hilary won over Obama, my vote would be with Hilary. I am Democrat, I support their views on life's policy, I do not see, black or white, male or female. You know what I do see, a future absent of Republican rule...

Nigga

Chris Rock posed an interesting way of looking at the word "Nigga" He said "its like Soul Food, white people gave us SCRAPS and we put some seasoning to it, and turned it into a cuisine, the word nigga is the same thing, its poetry for our community, people protest the word nigga, but no one is trying to boycott Pigfeet" In my idea, the word is offensive, just as offensive as the word "bitch", however you can hear that word on all day time television programming, every show on the used to be UPN & WB, now CW network someone is saying it. Ladies when you are with your girls, and one of them says "Bitch no you didn't" no one takes offense, but a guy from outta nowhere saying it, poses a problem? Why do we STILL let the other race tell us what we can and cannot say? Just because white people get in trouble for saying "nigga" does not mean we should let "them" convince "us" that it is wrong. If you feel its wrong for saying it, then don't however if you have no issues with it, then let it go. People get offended by anything these days. I told someone Merry Christmas once and they were offended due to religion. My aunt had a slogan for those types of people that goes "Merry Christmas if this offends you then go to hell" works for me!!
